im up early today considering it's a Saturday...dunno why but nowadays im waking up earlier and earlier..haiz..dont tell mi it's my body clock telling me that sch starting?and im going thru the acclimatization period?OH NOOO...:(oh when i woke up 2day..the first thing i did was to relay a msg to grandma..her fren called yest to say she wont be meeting them today but i 4got to tell her yest..opps...and D i also forget to tell her that the jeweller called the other day... haha am i suffering from dementia?hope not ;) this could be e reason y i woke up early haa cos all the info stuck in my head..
mahjong and more mahjong haha...played wahjong with D yest...it's very fun...D had a run of 5 straight big wins haha...mahjong is abt luck and once ur luck comes...you are unstoppable ;)imagine if we played mahjong instead of wahjong...ooo $$$ rolling in haha :)
hmm..let me share my ns experience =) jus some of the significant ones...some of u might have heard stories from ur frens,siblings,bf...but might not have heard from me haha..here it goes:
First day of enlistment
the dreaded day...the day where i have to serve my time of 1 yr 10 mths...30th March 20xx...hmm from what i rmb..my parents and I took the ferry from pasir ris to Pulau Tekong...it's a 20 mins ride...one that i would be so used to for the next 3 mths haha :)
at the ferry terminal...there were already army guys enforcing discipline...some of us whom did not tuck in our shirts were asked to do so...so strict rite?tsk tsk tsk...anw we were invited to a reception, had lunch, followed by a talk in the auditorium...the place where we, ns guys took our oath...and after that...it's byebye time...time for our parents to go bk to SG and us to embark on another journey (sounds nice right?soo fun) =)
from that moment..i knew it...it's.. it's....TEKAN time hahaaha....we recruits were ORDERED to collect our stuff:boots,bags,shoes,bla bla bla alot of things...oh n then we were in this gym where we were supposed to try our shorts,singlets,T-shirts and sWimming trunks!! haha..that's where i saw smth "bizaare" haa...how to try swimming trunks in a room full of guys?no changing rooms...yeap u might have guessed it...i saw some guys...very fast...stripped down to nothing and wore the trunks and proclaimed "hmm too small..i change with you?"omg...you jus wore it la like you noe w/o underwear haha...erm...mayb cos im a shy person so..i found that real awkward...heh appearing totally naked in front of strangers...although i noe we would be seeing alot "more" of each other in time to come but...u noe u noe...haha :)
after that "bizarre" experience..we proceded to have our hair cut...still must pay $3 to the barber hahaa...but the barber were quite friendly,always smiling...i wonder if they like to see botaks or wat man =) i recalled a dialogue btwn the barber and one of the recruits
Recruit: Uncle..nah $3 dollars
Barber: Thank you..take off ur spects and sit down
Recruit: Uncle, can help me cut like 3 lines at the side..like adidas like that?
Barber: Haha...3 lines?you think wat...stylo ah...later kenna frm ur sgt den u noe
Recruit: Huh?cannot ah?
Barber: CANNNOT LA!
but wat the barber said was true la...dont try to be extra...play punk...sure kena jialat jialat one...hahaha
