tmr's the last day of the cny week..actually this wk pass quite fast haha cos short week..went visiting on both days...collected hongbaos haha..i think this year's earnings not too bad..1 year 1 time kind of thing..sometimes i feel that some relatives we jus visit for the sake of visiting...cos no close relatives den nth much to talk abt too...i dun like to do things for the sake of doing it..if like that might as well dun do...i find like not very meaningful heh

after cny no more hols already...so need to go bk to usual "study" routine...hope i do not suffer frm withdrawal symptoms :) there seems to be so many things to be done..but 1 thing at a time..erm 1) HRM project 2) Drug discovery project 3) Pharma tb? 4) Read law tb 5) Understand MS 6)...7)...8)...

yea tmr got steamboat dinner haha...finally gathering...amist our bz schedule...we manage to come out with a date :) although the location not super accessible like town but we seldom gather..and all can make it..so for those staying far far away bear with it this time :)

during law lecture today the lecturer mentioned " man will nv understand woman" haa..that adrian pang sound-alike full of ideas..but then is it true?ahaha but at least we try to...how abt the other way, do woman understand man?do they try? mayb the female lecturer will say that..
does anticipation motivate u? does it make u work towards that goal/smth u hope to achieve?sometimes when u anticipate smth..so looking forward to it..and in the end it din come..its quite disappointing..dont like that feeling...like those singing contest waiting for the results frm the judges...he/she thinks they did good, gd enuff to win...but when the winner isnt them...u could see the disappointment in their faces..haiz...that sinking feeling...i rmb last time when i took part in the guitar competition..i memo the song, played many times...n tot i cld at least win a prize...but when i went up stage...oh nooo...hahaha..stage fright..i froze..blank...dunno what i was playing...i think i jus played the chorus of "classical gas" n i siam the stage already...so malu :)

anw i came across this song by Show Luo- Gao Xiao ...have a listen...see the mtv..it's super sad..but i find Show Luo very talented...can act, can sing, can host...n suave too :) see the expression in the mtv..super sad...the crying n smiling at the same time look..

ok time to go attempt the tut...law tut,mass spect tut...work work

afternoon's heat was scorching..waiting at boonlay bus interchange i could feel the heatwave..it's like a gigantic oven haha..the funny thing is that it hasnt rained for many days..a week maybe?hopefully dun suddenly rain 1 super heavy tsunami-like storm haha..den cos flooding here n there..

ahhh tmr's tut has been postponed...so tmr only need to go for lab...hmm...if i took the monday slot den tmr dun need to go sch ahahah...got a free day..oh man...fated la...hope lab end early tmr :) den if got time can go shop...

im still thinking bout the fun we 3 guys had on saturday haha..esp at borders...it was really cheap thrill...3 grown up boys doing things that we shdnt be doing...haaa...just a gist of what we did...went to borders in town..cos we were bored nth to do..so we looked for benches to sit..den the CD section had those sample music let pple listen..but that area no chairs so must stand up n listen haha..we wanted to sit down n listen..so IN FULL VIEW of the public...we were on the bench and we went like "1,2,3 move" den we pretended and inched the bench nearer hahahahaa....we inched all the way towards the CD station..it was hilarious..jus couldnt stop laffing even though we were being watched...dunno if got CCTV camera anot...haiz..cheap cheap thrill..but tt definitely spiced up the evening..life shd be like that..if not so boring..so routine..a pity david's leaving for the states so soon..if not can have more of these cheap thrills haha

besides jus having fun..we talked bout "serious" stuff too haa...plans for the future, plans for now...rmb that 1 word thingy that david asked...haa..i think dex is a really lucky guy..not many pple can have what u have dex...makes me envy of u dex haa..cherish cherish...hmm hope wat david said is true also...whether there's sense of security or not..haha...i dont have many frens but im glad i knew dex n david

decided to blog b4 i go slp...the countdown has begun...7 days to the NIU year =) my year hahah...this year's cny only got 2 days..mon n tues...definitely not enuff for me to finish visiting...somehow i feel cheated too cos new yr eve falls on Sunday so like cheated of 1 day hol or 1/2 day rather..

caught up with david again on sat before he leaves on wed...we went shopping for rings..3 guys shopping for couple rings haha...i think it's better than jus 2 guys goin...anw quite fun cos i've nv really shopped for rings b4...din noe there are so many types..got silver,surgical steel,stainless steel,tungsten...so many to choose..oh and got normal engraving or laser engraving..laser engraving is much nicer esp on silver rings...but on black rings normal engraving will do...wah learnt quite alot actually haha...some of them were really nice...but there were some that seem filmsy haha..the finishing of some not too good..like very rough...i kind of like the ring that can "turn"...when u turn it,it forms a nice heart shape tgt with e 2 names...so cool :)my fren said if quarrel den turn away so the heart cannot form..when okie already den turn back haha...trivial yet romantic :) den there's the kind where the names are engraved at the side instead of at the top...so it's more discreet..liked that 1 too haha.. i can only admire

sometimes i wanna live like the pple in the West...like wat david mentioned..their lifestyle quite diff from us..not so fast paced...den sometimes they jus spend time with the other half at home..chill out..rent a dvd to watch..simply enjoying each other's company...

hmm think im gonna turn in..getting late.."last" wk of sch :P

woke up early today..not because i dun wanna slp but i cant slp haha...n last night was so cold..the wind was chilling...so nice to sleep...wished i could slp later...INSOMNIA haa...did abit of spring cleaning today..get ready for the new year which is abt 2 weeks away..i dun think i settled my cny clothes yet...need to buy more :)

last week could be considered as örientation week...cos no tuts only lectures...now the sem really begins..full steam ahead...lectures + tutorials + practicals :( hopefully we have "acclimatized" last week...we have a new lecturer this sem..the tang guy haha..maybe he is related to ck tang..he is ok la...but only "abit" slow...den when time is running out must rush thru the slides haiz..the other lecturers we have already seen before...oh the biz law lecturer was a lawyer and a policeman haha...but he is very humorous..entertaining...although he needs to slow down..he is goin like 5000words/mins...take it slower...if not we cannot catch...then there's W.Liang..pharmaco lecturer...i think he's like a robot haahhaah....you shd see the way he walks...his neck is like SUPER stiff..cannot move one...his upper body super RIGID too...really like "Terminator" hahaah...

for those Little Nyonya fans...be sure to tune in to channel 8 tonight at 955pm for the add-on to the last episode...where YueNiang n Chenxi are together...the happy ending that everybody wanted to see hee :) i actually went to the mediacorp website to check it out...the short add-on is not an alternative ending but just to satisfy wat the public wanted to see..cos after all that YueNiang did for Chenxi and his family...she wants to be with him BUT she cant..cos he is married and divorce in the old days is VERY serious..so she chose to go...sad rite...after all her sacrifice haiz...i guess thats life...you cant always have things go your way no matter how much you try or want..it jus doesnt happen..all you can do is "hope"

i saw on discovery this documentry on love...they say love is about chemicals...den i rmbed Prof Liu's lecture abt how oxytocin can make the person a better lover, a more romantic person haha...but is it true?can love be taught or be told?maybe u take the dose of oxytoxin n read the manual on How to Love Someone den u know how to love another haha...maybe some researcher will come up with this in the future..but i doubt it..if only love can be taught...den every1 wont be single

2day is day 2 of the new "beginning"...the 1st day of sem2 did not go off on a good start haha...as all of us were "enthu" and looking fwd to the new sem...we did not want to miss the 1st lect...BUT there wasnt a 1st lecture...Prof LCF pang seh us...wat a disappointment...to go ALL the way to boon lay...for his 2hr lecture which did not exist!!haiz...however, on another note..if not for him..me,ade,lyd,june,mich wldnt have so much fun yest throwing balls hahaha :)

since no lect..the gang of us went to jp to walk walk...go explore the new extension...it's super super big..lots of food places...hmm i think next time we will go jp very often to eat...if we get sick of sch food haha..den we walked to the arcade n played the throwing ball game hah..play till hand pain...we "hamthumb" streakers,mice,mosquito,gangsters,tarzan, and jungle animals ahhah...hammthumb till shiok lol...

yest was also the last episode of Little Nyonya..i think e last episode was so-so..not that fantastic haah...cos alot of pple died...but cos it was the last episode..it was the closure for YueNiang too..i feel that Robert Zhang shd not have died so easily..mayb shd torture him more like wat he did to YuZhu opps...byebye Little Nyonya...dunno if the new 9pm show is nice heh :)

during xmas the salvation army had booths where they ring ring ring the bell asking for donations..surprising i see pple donating...recently i saw pple selling charity tickets at J8...i think the last time i bought a donation ticket was during JC? heh...den after the NKF saga and alot of charity scams...i stopped totally...but im still donating $5 to NKF every month...ironic rite?the reason is cos...i dunno how to "unsubscribe" haiz..dun laff eh who noes how help me pls thx :) i rmb reading somewhere that love is about giving...it is true..but this statement somehow reminds me of charity where u give unconditionally...i dun think i can love someone w/o that person loving me back...i think some wei da pple in world can ahahha is love an investment? heh..that can make money when u put in $10 K n get back $15 K hahah..nah it's not...sometimes even though u invest alot...in the end...u end up with nothing..

checked my elective today...haiz..din get 1st choice,no 2nd choice,but 3rd choice...got fundamentals of biz lor haha...how come electives so diff. to get 1st choice...i tot we year 3...senior year already..got priority..tsk tsk tsk...next time must let year 4 and 3 got priority den year 2 n 1 take those electives that we dun take hahaha :P anw it's the last elective..take it n clear it n forget it :)

came back from Penggarang yest afternoon..well i can use 3 words to describe the trip..EAT EAT EAT literally HAHA...the place is called Sg Renggit , a small town/island, something like P.ubin...so no shopping centres,no entertainment centres...basically jus a place to relax and eat..get away from the fast pace of life =) abt 30 pple went..n we booked the place to celebrate my waigong's bday,dar's bday and to countdown to Year 2009!!

to reach that place we had to take a 45min boat ride from changi ferry terminal to Tg Penggarang and then a 20 min taxi ride to the bungalow :) to be honest...it's not like Sentosa cove haha..it's jus a 3 storey bungalow...outside looks old..inside is better...but still need to improve the toilet n showers...like increase the FLOW of water from the shower head hee :) anw it's a good experience..not everytime u get to bath like that

we visited the ostrich farm...which i think is the only attraction there haha...the ostriches were huge n they were allowed to roam ard freely..they can jus walk and stand beside u as if u are not there ahah...so if u are not careful u might jus bump into them..but they are frenly..but still there's a chance that they will peck ur eye haha :P we even fed the ostriches with corn..they love corn hee...

at night we had a BIG feast...a REALLY big one hahaha..it was a more than 10 course dinner...alot of food n we all cant finish..the food came 1 after another non-stop...got "shou tao",fried lobster,cereal prawns,steam lobster,steam pomfret,lobster sashimi,veg,crab with salted egg,hotplate tofu and alot more...haha cant rmb...i think we ate from 6 plus till 10..it's like a buffet =) after that we cut cakes..1 for wai gong n 1 for dar..hope that i din "traumatise" dar too much...n that it was more of a pleasant surprise :) dar lets get bk at yiwen one day heh heh heh =D

hmm after dinner we r&r for awhile till countdown...we brought like 2 boxes of big poppers with confetti inside to usher the year 2009 with loud bangs haha when it was 12 midnight..it was chaotic..everybody popping the poppers and spraying the conffetti at each other haha...n then there was fireworks too :) there's a countdown party near the bungalow n they had fireworks there...abt 5 mins of non-stop boom booom booom...nice! and we dont have to squeeze with the people at marina bay :P Happy 2009! although pple say it's a gloomy year cos of the financial crisis...we can make it a happy one if we want =)

the next day we had 50cents nasi lemak,kampung chic egg and zhu chang fen for breakfast...eat again haha:) so cheap rite 50 cents nasi lemak..in ringgit somemore :) n after we had lunch..we packed up n headed bk to singapore!!!back to home...home sweet home :)
