watched 康熙来了 on scv jus nw..today's episode was abt how the celebs earned their first million..i think if you convert to SGD,it shd be ard S$500,000...hmm that is really alot of $$$..but celebrities have to work very hard and at the same time save too :) amongst them was 20 yr old singer Cai Min You and he recently released his 2nd album...im so envious..haiz...20 yr old already got 1 million NT...when can i earn my 1st million SGD?den i can buy wat i like..but maybe still not enuff to buy my Sentosa house haiz :( as much as i would like to dream...i dont think i would ever make that much $$..i'll be realistic this time :) hmm maybe jus S$999,999 :Pi always wonder how come 小S and 蔡康涌(sry if i got the name wrong) talk so fluently and always engaging in witty repertoir...they seem to always have smth to say,smth to ask the guests...how i wish i could be like them..so witty n entertaining...maybe they took lessons in Taiwan?or maybe they jus have this natural talent to speak with ease?with them ard...things would be very lively....i think for Xiao S is because she is straightforward..some may call it "blunt" ...if she has smth to say...she jus say it..hmm we have our SG version of them too...Quan YiFeng and Guo Liang =) but i dun think they are as funny...maybe cos what is televised on TV here is highly controlled and many things cannot be said n broadcast on air...for eg i think the hosts cannot speak dialects on TV...hopefully, there can be a younger duo...perhaps of a younger generation..maybe Desmond Koh and....i cant think of a female host for the time being haha :)
to have a witty repertoir with someone isnt easy i guess..cos when u "throw" smth at them to respond, they must be able to "catch" it...then there will be the 梗 and 效果...so depends alot on their "mo qi"...like sometimes when u talk to ur frens...you say smth and they respond with something witty back..den hahaha continue to talk den hahaha...but there may be times whereby u said smth..and was hoping for a response..and all you got was "hmm ya lor" or "ya ya "...quite sianz...and then u think..hmm no connection or maybe not funny..to find someone whereby u can really talk to...talk abt anything n i mean anything...no holds barred...is not easy...cos sometimes u may think the other person will understand you..but they dont...
recently i've been watching FRIENDS..not really watching but i caught the 2 back to back episodes jus now..very funny..and i like Joey..haha..he likes to eat n eat...n he likes to act stupid...jus now the episode was abt "mood spoilers"...erm u noe sometimes..u cre8 a romantic mood or tried to..den there had to be that one-liner that changes the mood entirely...and it would be like "oh well..so much so for mood" ..that was wat happened in that episode..
imagine this: Tom wans to impress his gf, Mary, by having a romantic candle light dinner with her. He did all the necessary arrangements with the restaurant..asked for the terrance seats outside...flowers...hoping to cre8 that perfect romantic atmosphere and hoping that Mary would be so touched...but when Mary arrived...she said " How come u wanna sit outside?so hot...the candle lights quite dim also..cant see what im eating." so much so for putting in so much effort Tom..it could have been a romantic evening..if not for what Mary said...if you were Tom how would u feel?not very pleased i guess...
i've heard this song by secondhand serenade...title: Your Call...i kind of like this band..real nice lyrics too...wanna share this line from the song before i end my post haha..."I was borned, to tell you I love you.." i find that phrase very romantic leh...dont you think so?haha..i mean if someone were to say that to me..wow..my heart will definitely melt hee :) but then on the other hand...mayb it's jus me myself and I think that way...
