this few days i have been waking up early..zzz...and today was no exception...though we had the long long wk end break...i woke up early on 3 out of the 4 days..haiz..went to pray in the morn today..my cute nephew was there too haha...lucky it wasnt very very crowded today..if not..it would be very smokey n he would be crying..not good for a 3 month old to be "smoking" so young rite? sry i admit that was lame =)yesterday i din smth very meaningful...i celebrated Singapore's 43th Bday...yeah!!! i was one of the lucky ones who got the tix for this yr's NDP...heee it's my first time attending the parade too~ yesterday's weather was good at first..not too hot...was looking forward to the goodie bag too..but the previous year's goodie bag was nicer..this year's bag looked like those recycling bag haha...but the design was abstract :) we were allocated to the BLUE sector..not right at the middle of the platform...but not too bad either...the parade started with those motivators and hosts encouraging us to cheer and wave the "palm thingy" and the shiny fan...oh the shiny fan thingy is quite nice..can act as an umbrella too haha but must be careful when u spin it..you wont wanna cut the scalp of the person in front of you hahaha
den as everyone was happily cheering, playing...it rained..n in an instant..everyone transformed into PONCHOMAN and PONCHOWOMAN haha...luckily the rain wasnt too heavy if not...i think the floating platform may not float anymore :P i feel like this yr's parade like quite quiet...hmm mayb becos of all the rising costs and ERP hee :) anw i think the best part of the parade is being able to see n hear those planes zoom right b4 your eyes haa..and of cos the FIREWORKS!!! this yr's fireworks was beautiful...i shall post the pics another time..oh after dinner we went to Gelare to have dinner and we were given the number plate : no. 43 ...how fitting haha...table 43 on 43th bday of SG heee
this morn my sis told me that Li JiaWei was bombarded on STOMP! for "draggin" the SG flag on the floor...she rep SG and was given the honour of holding the SG flag...i was like "HUH?!" hmm its only the tip of flag that touched the floor...and the flag was soo big...its not easy to carry it also..furthermore when she waved to the crowd she was holding it in 1 hand..so obviously heavy rite?haiz...dunno why pple like that also must make an issue..making a mountain out of a molehill tsk tsk tsk
hmm sometimes i also like to make comments too..like "make fun" of things..like on the bus recently i went: "see see the china guy with the ang moh gal" haha...something like that...i think it has become a habit..but im not trying to be mean or evil..hmm i think pple who know me will know that =) who noes maybe other pple see me will go: " hey see see..that bamboo looking white white guy there in the bus hahahaha"...karma at work
im feeling slpy already..think im going to slp soon...tmr morn Sg swimmer Tao Li will compete and hopefully she will deliver a medal =) jiayou!! it's monday already...sooo fast...after tmr..sch term official begins...5 straight days of sch aHhhhh...im thinking wat shd i do tmr...still in hols mood...but i have no programmes..think it's goin to be another boring day..stay home day haiz..but it's my "official" last day of hol..lights out~
