2nd day of the new yeh

checked my elective today...haiz..din get 1st choice,no 2nd choice,but 3rd choice...got fundamentals of biz lor haha...how come electives so diff. to get 1st choice...i tot we year 3...senior year already..got priority..tsk tsk tsk...next time must let year 4 and 3 got priority den year 2 n 1 take those electives that we dun take hahaha :P anw it's the last elective..take it n clear it n forget it :)came back from Penggarang yest afternoon..well i can use 3 words to describe the trip..EAT EAT EAT literally HAHA...the place is called Sg Renggit , a small town/island, something like P.ubin...so no shopping centres,no entertainment centres...basically jus a place to relax and eat..get away from the fast pace of life =) abt 30 pple went..n we booked the place to celebrate my waigong's bday,dar's bday and to countdown to Year 2009!!
to reach that place we had to take a 45min boat ride from changi ferry terminal to Tg Penggarang and then a 20 min taxi ride to the bungalow :) to be honest...it's not like Sentosa cove haha..it's jus a 3 storey bungalow...outside looks old..inside is better...but still need to improve the toilet n showers...like increase the FLOW of water from the shower head hee :) anw it's a good experience..not everytime u get to bath like that
we visited the ostrich farm...which i think is the only attraction there haha...the ostriches were huge n they were allowed to roam ard freely..they can jus walk and stand beside u as if u are not there ahah...so if u are not careful u might jus bump into them..but they are frenly..but still there's a chance that they will peck ur eye haha :P we even fed the ostriches with corn..they love corn hee...
at night we had a BIG feast...a REALLY big one hahaha..it was a more than 10 course dinner...alot of food n we all cant finish..the food came 1 after another non-stop...got "shou tao",fried lobster,cereal prawns,steam lobster,steam pomfret,lobster sashimi,veg,crab with salted egg,hotplate tofu and alot more...haha cant rmb...i think we ate from 6 plus till 10..it's like a buffet =) after that we cut cakes..1 for wai gong n 1 for dar..hope that i din "traumatise" dar too much...n that it was more of a pleasant surprise :) dar lets get bk at yiwen one day heh heh heh =D
hmm after dinner we r&r for awhile till countdown...we brought like 2 boxes of big poppers with confetti inside to usher the year 2009 with loud bangs haha when it was 12 midnight..it was chaotic..everybody popping the poppers and spraying the conffetti at each other haha...n then there was fireworks too :) there's a countdown party near the bungalow n they had fireworks there...abt 5 mins of non-stop boom booom booom...nice! and we dont have to squeeze with the people at marina bay :P Happy 2009! although pple say it's a gloomy year cos of the financial crisis...we can make it a happy one if we want =)
the next day we had 50cents nasi lemak,kampung chic egg and zhu chang fen for breakfast...eat again haha:) so cheap rite 50 cents nasi lemak..in ringgit somemore :) n after we had lunch..we packed up n headed bk to singapore!!!back to home...home sweet home :)
